It’s been quite a few weeks since my last post. It’s not as if nothing interesting happened to me but as far as I can tell, I had neither the time, nor the heart to publish things here. Really, life seems so complicated at times ! But I am quite happy to handle things way better than a few years earlier, even if it’s not perfect yet !

For instance, I just don’t know how I miss so many movies I put on my watch-list, but who will remain to be seen for months and months because I wait until the last moment and of course, it’s always too late !

Well, on Sunday, I succeeded, at least partially, since I ended up at the theatre, but did not see exactly my first choice ! And so I depressed completely watching Still Alice, story of…Alice, diagnosed with early Alzheimer’s disease. There are better things to put you in a good mood 🙂 . Such as an excellent brunch taken this Sunday at Bapz, a place which must be known to lots of Toulouse citizens I guess.

Next Saturday, I am also supposed to participate in the « Timbrés de l’orthographe » regional final, at Université Capitole 1, but I still don’t know if I’ll find the motivation to go. It’s not as if I had the slightest chance to make it to the national final !

Anyway, I think this weekend I will bring back from my parents house the new Ishiguro novel, The Buried Giant. I ordered it on Amazon, and I can’t wait to start it, Ishiguro being one of my all-time favourite writers ! And as for why the book is at my parents house instead of mine, it’s simple, I never changed my address when ordering things from Amazon. Laziness…
